For many of us we are now into leaf season. I’m sure for some of you this means the year is wrapping up and for others this is just a way for you to transition into snow. Either way, we want to know how you are charging this year for leaf removal services. Are you giving the customer an “exact” cost, an estimate or are you charging by the hour? Remember, its not right or wrong but we want to know what way more contractors are using.

A common mistake made in a slow economy is to reduce or even worse, eliminate marketing and advertising dollars from your budget. Don’t do either. As a matter of fact increase your advertising dollars. WHY? A slow economy causes several things to happen. I am going to address two of them now.
#1 Less clients to go around or a smaller market and
#2 Increased competition
Take the time and money necessary to keep your name in the market place. Rather it be residential or commercial, keep advertising. Check out our marketing and advertising information if you want some simple yet effective tools to utilize in a slow economy.

Are you planning to further diversify your services this year? If so, what services are you adding?
Remember, diversification means more opportunities for you to increase your PROFITS! The more services you can offer to your existing customer base as well as new clientele, the more they will call you and not your competitor. In any economy but especially now, you must diversify your services to meet your customers needs and increase PROFITS.
